The idea is to get your message across with less effort and greater impact.  Participants of this workshop will benefit by:

To identify and practice the strategies and techniques to sharpen business writing skills including
• memos
• letters
• E-mails

NOTE: Participants will be asked to bring three examples of their letters, memos e-mails, etc.

•Removing excessive words and phrases
•Using simple, easy to understand language

•Writing formally VS informally
•Establishing an appropriate tone
•Using a dynamic VS passive approach

•Being courteous and building goodwill
•Being results oriented
•Keeping up with trends in writing
•Using non-sexist language
•Forming paragraphs
•Correcting punctuation, grammar, syntax
